Juka’s Organic Co. was established in 2013 by Juka Ceesay. After owning an African food market in the City of Inglewood, CA in 2008 for a few years. Juka realized there was a lack of authentic, unrefined, pure, and natural food & beauty products in the United States from Africa that were made available to the American mainstream. With the help of her mother, Juka soon after started importing just the red palm oil, which she branded and made available in her food market and sold online as well. Juka still faced some challenges to cross over to mainstream.
