Semaglutide use method
1. Injection time and frequency
Routine injection: once a week, can be given at any time of the day, no need to adjust according to meal time.
Dose adjustment:
Starting dose: Usually 0.25mg once a week.
Increase the dose: After 4 weeks, the dose is increased to 0.5mg and continues once a week.
Maximum dose: It is not recommended to take more than 1mg per week.
2. Injection site
Site of choice: abdomen, thigh or upper arm, all of which can be injected subcutaneously.
Change site: If the injection site needs to be changed, there is no need to adjust the dose.
